Oh there is no set date for thanksgiving, just like there is no set date for anything else the Unites States does.

Hoping to come home and see their loved ones

They were eating Turkey, playing football and hanging out with friends just like the rest of us.

Anyone that has friends and family over there should be able to attest to that. Sure they would like to be at home with their kids, friends and loved ones... but my brother and friends would rather eat turkey in Iraq than have to go back making this all a moot point.

I don't think the world really understands much about our military. I know quite a few people over there that simply get outraged when people feel sorry for them and feel like they need to whine about our poor soldiers.

Most will tell you to shut up and worry about yourselves and quit acting as if they are children that need a voice.

Wasnt it yesterday?! I figure they'll give them some chewy Turkey and let them call home.
