I'm trying to burn the dvd from kodak gallery software, but when I take it to the dvd player it doesn't read the disc...

You must first ensure that your DVD player is compatable with the new technology. There are many out there to choose from.

If your DVD is compatable, make sure you are saving it correctly. I dont know about that Kodak program. You have a good one right on your computer right now. Its called Windows Movie Maker. Just make sure so save your vidoes as DV-AVI (NTSC). This is actually a great program for easy jobs such as your doing.

If you are more of an advanced user with money, you can buy Adobe Premier Video which does about the same thing but with a few more tricks.

you might be usind just a regular computer disc
make sure its a dvd one
