I wouldn't shop at Best Buy no matter what they said. They are rude, and I have a Circuit City right across the street.

Um, relax, it's one day after Thanksgiving. Besides, Best Buy and many other businesses are run by very intelligent people. It is a lot like the dixie chicks angering half their fan base isn't it? As in...not smart. Their goal is to sell and make a profit, it would be cutting their throat economically speaking to anger their non-religious customers. I miss the holiday decorations but it isn't going to rule my shopping.

I don't care. I don't rely on Best Buy for validation of my beliefs. Rather I rely on them for good deals. They had some great deals on DVDs today and I got a lot of Christmas shopping done.

Yes precisely why I will shop there. I notice that you emphasized the Christ part of Christmas but who really cares if they wont say Merry Christmas, its not that big a deal. If its that big to you then go elsewhere.

So as well as forcing Christ into the government you are now trying to force Christ into private businesses, too. Christianists give the rest of us Christians a bad name. Much like the Islamists give Islam a bad rep.

Christmas belongs in your heart. Don't rely on a mass market retailer to express your faith for you.

Okay, if it were my christian duty to spend as much as possible on the "item du jour" it might bother me, but Christmas really shouldn't be just about spending all your money should it?

If it bothers you, how about donations to worthy charities or - how about to your church? I bet they keep Christ in Christmas!!
