I take it off. Don't like knowing the time in the middle of the night - keep it close enough for early morning peeking when i need to check the time.

Have found that you wake up with a wrist-watch imprint on the side of your head if you fall asleep on your arm.

As for pros, apart from being able to tell the time in the night or the old putting-a-kitten-to-sleep trick of the tick-tock of an analogue clock/watch, can't think of any.

I take mine off at night for 2 reasons.
1. You sweat more at night and that only soaks into the strap, therefore deteriorating the strap sooner.
2. People sleep at the funniest angles. This can put undue strain on the crown of a watch. This not only risks breaking this part but can also damage the water-seal.

I dont wear a watch at all now. I lost it and eventually some one bought me one but I found I didn't like wearing it anymore.
I found knowing exactly what time it was often didn't make any difference to what I was doing.

If you are used to wearing one wear it at night, at least you will know the time if you wake up at night.

I use to, but it was a comfy one, i don't now because i wear braces on both hands day and night and it makes my wrists large

The downside is that after time (no pun) the inside of your watch begins to stink and sometimes it gets caught in your hair and rips a few strands out xx

I sleep with mine on, unless I'm planning to have sex then maybe I'll take it off. The pros are I can see the time in the middle of the night, can't think of any cons cos my watch (a Tag) is really comfy.
