I am thinking about buying a space heater now that the weather is getting cold. I was wonding if anyone can help me with this matter. Which is more energy efficient? Which one heats the room faster?

No major difference between the two. They both use 1500 watts and are both good for about the same size room (around 100 sq feet). The ceramic heater looks a bit more modern and is a little quieter. The standard space heater is cheaper. You can also get an oil filled radiator that will do the same thing. The only advantage to that is that once the oil is heated it gives off heat a bit longer - but don't expect much of a savings.
