Who is the main character Antigone or Creon..and why??

id say antigone and creon is the antagonist, antigone is oedipus daughter and the three stories all revolve mainly around him so id go with antigone becuz she relates more lcosely to the central idea of the trilogy!

Antigone is the main character for many reasons. One she is the daughter of Oedipus. Also in the play Oedipus Rex is was the only daughter that stood by him when he left Thebes.

I'd say Antigone-she's Oedipus' daughter, and dealing with the result of what her father did in his life, she has her own voyage of self discovery while she tries to find a way for her father to be forgiven.
