no this wouldnt be such a good idea.. thats why they dont let u go into a tanning bed why you are pg... you can cool yourself off but your baby can not... if you do it your not going to fry your baby.. but u will over heat the baby and there's no way to cool the baby off

It is not a good idea to use a heating pad if you are pregnant especially not on your stomach that is why doctors say don't take baths either because the heat could fry your baby and you could miscarry or lose the child.

I wouldn't recommend it. Like another person said, you can cool your body off, but the baby can't. That's why pregnant women are not supposed to get in hot tubs or in really hot baths while pregnant. It can raise your blood pressure- and that's not a good thing when you are pregnant.

if you keep it on low or put a towel between you and the heating pad. Why would you want to put one on your belly though?

No, or get into a jacuzzi either. Not safe. You can use one on your back, or thighs but be very careful not to fall asleep with it on you.

the extra few degrees is not good on your baby. it can be stressful on the baby. since your body temp raises during pregnancy you don't need to add on to it.
