I'm taking some of my jeans for hemming soon as they're too long. Was wondering what's the best gauge of where you should hem up to? Should the jeans stop at:
a) a couple of inches above the floor without wearing shoes,
b) exactly hit the floor without wearing shoes,
c) exactly hit the floor with you wearing shoes, or
d) others?

I don't wear heels, so that's not an issue. Thanks!

I *think* the general guideline is 1/2 inch above the floor with shoes (so they don't get walked on and stay out of the street crud more than if they came all the way to the floor). If most of your shoes are the same heel height, this should be easy.

I personally like them so when I sit down, the front of the leg still touches the top of my shoe (so my socks aren't hanging out and I don't get a draft on my legs). Since some of my shoes are thicker than others, the distance from the floor varies.

I think it's funny when people buy different length pants to go with their different shoes.
