Sometimes I will look up at a digital clock to see the number 28. This happens during the day and at night. I car will pass by and I will see the number 28 on its tag and have even noticed that sometimes a call will come throught on my cell at 28 on the hour. i.e. 12:28, 2:28 and so on. My birthday in on 9/28. I only just started noticing this within the last year. I'm not one to believe in "hocus pocus" stuff but I can't help but notice this number thing going on all the time. Anyone else have this happen to them?

I have one of those. I have been seeing it four five years now. My number is 923. Everywhere I look I see it. I have been waiting for something to happen on 9/23 but nothing yet.

OK, ignore everyone before Kookie posted. It's called the 'confirmation effect' - you notice the number everywhere because you're looking for it. If you wrote down every single number you saw, all day, well, you wouldn't have time to do anything else, but you'd also notice that 28 doesn't come up any more often than any other number. You just remember it when it does, and forget it when it doesn't - or don't even pay attention when it's NOT 28.
It's nothing paranormal. It happens to everyone - I see 83 everywhere, but I know it's nothing besides my brain saying 'ooh, there's ANOTHER one!'

It's called selective attention. It begins with something you initially notice that has some significance to you. You may not realize it, but you do subconsciously notice things like clocks on the wall or on your computer. You probably look at the clock more times than you may realize. It's just that the number 28 is relavent to you, which is why you tend to notice it more.
Start writing down the time everytime you look at a clock and see if you notice the number 28 as often.

Happens to lots of people apparently, myself including... Im a little superstitious about telling anyone what my number is though, but I do have one!
Dr. Wayne Dyer says that it is your sub conscience trying to tell you to STOP and do something other than your regular routine that brings you closer to your internal state... In other words, it is your spirit, grabbing your attention and reminding you to get closer to your inner experiences and tune out the outer world just for a little while... He also says of this, that is the reason for waking abruptly in the middle of the night and also says that you should never go right back to sleep byt meditate or pray or whatever you do to bring you peace during those little wake up calls...
I believe that is the reason that the Muslims; stop, drop, and pray twice a day, facing Mecca... That is very powerful and spiritually productive!

Yes. This has been happening to me since I was about 6 or 7 except it was the number 23. Take notice of this number, it is a prophecy. Meditate on the meaning and you will find it.

Yes it happened to me when I was about 17, and litterally everywhere I went, or every time I looked and any electronic device it had the # 14 on it. It was so weird!, but I don't think it is anything to be concerned about just merely a coincidence.

i have the SAme thing happen to me, same number same occurrences we even have the same birthday 9/28 and i havnt been able
to find a reason why i see the number 28 everywhere, any luck??

thats weird man. i always seem to look at the clock at the same time like 8:13 p.m. and thats also my sisters birthday. hmm who knows if theres a connection or not?!?
