does the "aunt vivian" change in the different seasons, wat i mean is in the old ones she looks different then in the newer episodes. is it a different person??? ive never been able to find out!!!

yeah she changes. In the first 66 episodes Janet Hubert-Whitten playes her but then it changes to Daphne Reid.

The role was recast. Aunt Viv was originally played by Janet Hubert-Whitten; later, Daphne Maxwell-Reid took over the part.

ya she changes the old Aunt Viv (Janet Hubert)left after the 3rd season in a salary dispute with the network Now she plays in the soap All My Children. The new Aunt Viv was played by Daphne Reid.

Its the other aunt thats came to visit Vivian in the later episodes that starts playing the Vivian women atleast thats what I thought.

Yes there were two actresses in the role of Vivian. Apparently they had some conflicts with the first one and let Her go.
Janet Whitten was the first and Daphne REid was the second.

First person that answered is right. The first one was tall and thin and darker...the second one was shorter and ligther with curly hair. Personally I liked the first one better.
