are people really that offended by the words "happy holidays" that they would stop shopping at Wal-Mart?

one includes everyone... and one doesn't... why not include everyone?

I don't really have a problem with either, but the Christians are the ones that I've heard crying 10 times louder than anyone else...

Wal-Mart is free to use the words Merry Christmas just like Target is free to use Happy Holidays. What offends me about WalMart is that their employees are under paid, have no benefits, and will lose their jobs if they try to organize. WalMart sells imported goods that are imported and manufactured by child labor in sweatshops. I prefer to shop at a store that is a good corporate citizen and contributes more to the community than it takes.

I doubt there will be any ramifications other than the few weenies that will be offended. I'm sure the ACLU will try to find a judge who's willing to rip Christmas out of Wal-Mart's evil clutches.

I am encouraged by Walmart bring back Christmas and scrapping Happy Holidays, and I'm a Hebrew. This time of year has always been very special for my Christian friends and it really ticked me off the way the Secular Progressives have been attacking. We Hebrews have our Hanukkah and I'll be the first to admit it's not our biggest observance. It's like "Whoopie the lamp oil lasted for eight days!" but Christmas is important to Christians and they should be shown the courtesy of being allowed to enjoy it fully. If the S-P's have a problem with that, screw 'em.

Who cares if they are offended,I didn't shop @ walmart last year cause of the BS, since they decided to show Merry CHRISTmas I will be shopping there this year as many other Christians will! There are more Americans who believe in Christ then there are that don't! Let them stop shopping there,I don't want to be around those kind of people anyway!

why do people care if a company puts up a few flashing lights...IT'S A STORE...they should put decorations on their own houses and observe Christmas in their own way, why should they rely on the government or other people to do their worshiping for them. Or are you offend when a person like me doesn't bury his house ritualistically in lights.

If they did stop shopping 50 more would take their place.
