i don't know what you have used as bait but we once had a rat who kept getting out of traps and we put peanut butter on the trap and that worked we got him! Other than that have you tried sticky traps with food placed in the middle? Or how about a live bait trap? Those are my only suggestions!!

many times, a rat capture would be set with a form of nutrition that a rat won't have the flexibility to stand as much as. ingredients with an exceedingly stable scent are the final rat attractants, and could be seen first. Peanut butter, Viscount St. Albans, nuts or maybe chocolate have been used with fulfillment, yet a good oily peanut butter will stay sparkling longer and is one in each and all the final baits. If there's a huge volume of nutrition in the encircling area, which comprise in a feed mill, a diverse attitude could desire to could desire to be taken. Rats are consistently interested in nesting components which comprise straw, plastic foam, cotton and just about the different style of delicate textile. those could could desire to be bodily tied right down to the set off to stay away from them from being stolen, and employing dental floss to attend to them works nicely. whilst textile like that's tied down, the rat will ought to bodily tug at it which will then launch the spring mechanism, trapping the rat.

arghh i had that happen before. Is your car inside of a garage? If so buy one of the electronic utra-sound rodent things..Not sure the name of them, but you can buy them at home depot or lowes. You plug it into a socket and they hate the sound and keep their distance.. Works like a charm.
