And now he is wearing another brand that he "Found" Trouble is is that it freaking REEKS!!!!!! I can still find the old brand online and have offered to buy him a dozen bottles in exchange for the disposal of the new toxic waste! But he keeps insisting that he likes the new stuff and that all the people that he works tell him that the new scent smells good on him. Any ideas on how to get him to stick with the old scent and dispose of the new toxic waste?

Well whose opinion matters most to him; everyone at work or yours? Everyone at work might not be as honest as you would. If he wants to deny it and stink than that's his fault.

If all else fails iritate your skin with something and tell him you have a rash and you think its his new cologne. If he still won't stop wearing it than put some amonia in it. Maybe when he smells it he'll think "Has this always smelled this bad?"

How honest does he think that everyone at work is? And besides that, your opinion should matter the most! (Be sure to tell him that!)

If it comes down to it, lie. Tell him that there is something about the old stuff that makes you want him so bad and that the new stuff just doesn't do that for you.

Tell him that it gives you a headache. Seriously.

We had a situation at the office that was similar. The supervisor arrived every morning, drenched in something that caused allergies to flare up, headaches, etc. We went to the manager (all of us), and she was asked to not use the cologne.

So, if he doesn't want to hear the line, "not tonight, Honey; I have a headache" .....

Tell him that the old scent used to make you "want him" but the new one doesn't have the same effect.

buy the old stuff and give it to him as a surprise gift, then throw the stinky stuff away. tell him that you love the old scent on him and that you think he should continue to wear it.

Tell him you're allergic. There must be some wierd chemical in it. *wink * *wink* and fake your allergy symptoms whenever he comes by.

See what he says. Tell him the cologne goes or you do.

I agree with Madamspud's suggestion.

I take my partner's comments seriously. If I wear something and he says he doesn't like it, I won't wear it around him.

I'm curious...what fragrances are you talking about?

Freeze him out. No physical contact of any kind while he's wearing that stuff. It'll work.
