i hav the mass of an object which is 560,000 kg
i have the speed of the same object in m/s = 250 m/s
and i need to find the Pressure in Pascals
i know that Pressure = Force / Area
and Pressure = mass / length x time^2

is it correct if i do this-
Pressure = mass / length x time^2
Pressure = kg / ms^2
or Pressure = kg / [(ms^-1) x s^3]
therefore Pressure = 560,000 / 250 x (1^3)

i have assumed that since speed of object is 250 metres per second, s = 1 second, and therefore s^3 = 1^3 = 1
therefore Pressure = 560,000 / 250
= 2240 Pa or 2240 N/m^2 in other word 2240 kg/ms^2
is this correct?
i wud appreciate an explanation if it is or if it isn't

i dont see anything wrong the way u solved it(mathematically).if there was any condition or state is mentioned about that thing in time or wrt time then u have to reconsider the problem.

I have to say that my first instinctive reaction is to say no, it can't be right. In particular where do you get pressure = mass/length*time^2 from? was it f=ma so f=m*length/time^2 now divide by length^2 as dimensionally consistent with area? If so then you get f=m/length/time^2 and what has happened to your acceleration? Just because it's dimensionally consistent doesn't,necessarilly mean it makes sense. To exert a force your object will need to undergo some sort of acceleration and if it exerts that force,evenly over a particular area for some undefined time then ...

That's not a simple question. It seems to be a question with info missing.

There isn't any way to get from mass and speed to force or area without more info.

you must calculate force:
mass x speed = time x force

you can calculate force:
perssure = force/area

area is area of object that force is on this.
