Well, according to Aljazeerah, they are no different than the American colonists, kicking the British off American soil (yeah, right) back in the early days of this country. Link 1

And according some writers from the New York Times, they are a helping hand. Link 2

A quote from Wikipedia - "Hezbollah began to take shape during the 1982 Lebanon War; on February 16, 1985 Sheik Ibrahim al-Amin publicly declared the group's manifesto, which included three goals: the eradication of Western imperialism in Lebanon, the transformation of Lebanon's multi-confessional state into an Islamic state, and the complete destruction of the state of Israel."

Their roots are in Iran, and follow the ideology of the Ayatollah Khomenei. They are Iran's secret police, a terrorist army who have become very adept at playing the media and using Madison Avenue tactics of public relations.

One should be aware of the tactics they employ as well. It would be highly interesting to be able to freely inspect the hospitals and schools they have built. I would bet a dollar to a dime that there is more to them than meets the eye. Funny, during the recent fighting, they put civilians between them and the Israeli soldiers, human shields. The tactics of a what...soldier or army in the truest sense? I don't think so.

And, to use truck bombers, suicide bombers does indeed make you a terrorist in the purest sense. Marine Barracks, 1983.

If Hezbollah is terrorist then so was the French Resistance who were fighting the Nazis in occupied France. Of course, the Nazis regarded the French Resistance fighters as terrorist as in our day Zionist Jews, the Zionazis as they're also called, have used their immense commercial power and media control to use the label terrorist when with a little reflection one can see that they are themselves terrorists with a capital T.

i don't see how an organization whose stated goal is the destruction of israel and the israeli citizens by any means necessary could not be considered a terrorist party. i don't see how they could ever be said not to target civilians when they deliberately build their arms bases in the middle of areas as highly concentrated by civilians as possible to ensure that whenever israel wants to make a strike on them there is going to be a huge number of civilian casualities. any other decent non-terrorist organization would build their arms bases as far away from cities and towns as possible, but hezbollah is trying to get the world to hate israel as much as possible because they know this will further their goal. and i also don't see how the world came to the conclusion that the lebanese people have nothing to do with hezbollah even though it was the lebanese people themselves who elected several hezbollah members into their own parliament.

They receive support because they have a great PR campaign, provide good social services, and control a great deal of education. Their education, similar to the Nazis, breeds young zealots who believe it is acceptable to wipe out Israel.

Israel did take land from Lebanon, because they kept gettting attacked, Israel also gave 90% of that land back. The exception is the Shebba Farms, which is actually Syrian, NOT Lebanese.

Hezbolla are terrorists because they use human shields, target civilians, and want to wipe out the Jews. The Israelis actively avoid civilian casualties, place their military away from civil structures, and do not seek to wipe out Arabs or any other race.

The Hezbollah manifesto calls for the destruction of Israel. They are involved in political assassinations (Pierre Gemayal of Lebanon most recently) and suicide bombings.
I believe these qualify them as terrorists.

when they attack civilians when their enemy has a standing uniformed army I think that gives them a license to be called terrorists. People like them because they do good things in their communities (provide schools and health care) but from what I've heard so did the mafia. It may not recognized by other terror groups because they are an official political group in Lebanon

An organization that is targeting civilians is an organization of murderous terrorists. An organization who's leader constantly makes remarks such as "Jews are evil", and "we'll throw Jews into the sea", and other antisemitic and hateful remarks like that, is an organization of murderous terrorists.
An organization that is using civilian homes to launch rockets into Israel is a bloody murderous organization.

I don't see Hezbollah as a terrorist organization.it was created as a response to Israeli occupation of Southern Lebanon.Their goal was to draw Israel out of their country and they did it...Until this year I don't remember Hezbollah having civilian targets and in this conflict they targeted civilians as a response to Israel targeting civilians, which obviously was a stupid thing...
The reason for their support ...they liberated the Southern Lebanon from the Israeli occupation...and they did what no other Arab army has ever done:they defeated Israel...

Hezbollah is considered a terrorist organization only by 3 countries in this world:Israel ,US and Canada...For most of the countries is a legitimate resistance movement...

Other countries do not view them as terrorists because they do not have a media or foreign policy that is as pro Israel as ours.

They are supported by the people because they provide, food, shelter, clothing, money. They build schools and hospitals, they build the roads.

Only three countries view Hezbollah as terrorists. Seriously though dont get your views on them from here, do your own research into it and decide for yourself.
