Uh... most don't. The ones that do, though, do it because (unlike the first group) they're generally more attracted to people of their own gender than to people of the opposite gender.
Why are they like that? No one really knows for sure, although research implies that pheromones and how we react to them may play a part in it.
And FTR, just because someone is different does not make them wrong.
