Van was hit on the side by a truck. Rear left tail light works, but brake light and indicator do not. I checked bulbs which were fine and also fuses were fine. I assume the wire was cut. So i want to check the wire to the indicator and brake light (same wire). Where exactly do i find the wire for this on the van to replace it?

Before you go running the wires, try replacing the bulb first rather than just checking it. The tail light bulb has two filaments in it; one for the tail light, and the other is the one that lights up when you apply brakes or use signals. Your issue sounds like an example of one good and one bad filament. These filaments can have microscopically small breaks in them yet still look OK to the naked eye. Try replacing the bulb first.

If that's not the issue, then start at the back of the tail light housing where the wires enter the socket, and run the wire back to the site of the impact/damage. If the wire was damaged, it would be pinched/cut somewhere in that area. Hope this info helps.

motorcycles take longer to stop than autos. I see a large variety of folk on motorcycles who tailgate the automobile in front, and that i ask your self what would take place if the automobile in front braked all of sudden. i exchange into taught to maintain a 2-2d distance from the automobile in front of me. You p.c.. a gap on the line, and as they bypass by you assert 'purely a fool breaks the two 2d rule' until eventually now you bypass over that spot. That takes 2 seconds. In a 'rear-ender', the guy in the back of is very nearly continuously presumed at fault. the guy had to be the two following too close in any different case no longer paying interest. there is an old quote approximately aviation that I see everywhere, usually on a poster with a image of an airplane it particularly is run right into a tree. i do no longer bear in mind the top words even though it particularly is something like: Aviation isn't inherently risky, yet like the sea it particularly is amazingly unforgiving of errors. something like that. properly that is going for motorcycling too.
