That is a good idea from the good samaritan. God bless you.

Are you ready to go through the 9 months of pregnancy and 48 hours of labour with an unwanted baby too? Why should any woman be a baby machine for you?

Must be tough.

I'm actually 38 weeks pregnant and waiting to give birth but I don't know how I could have done it with a baby that was the result of rape etc. I have found pregnancy so hard and birth will be even harder.

Obviously my baby will be very much loved and very much wanted (I was infertile for many years too), but I shudder to think about, say, a teenage rape victim being forced to go through this just so you can have a baby!

I commend you for trying to stop someone from having an abortion.... although I don't think you'll be very successful

How sad it is that you are so desperate for a child that you are searching for one on Yahoo Answers. I don't mean that as an insult, more of an observation of the plight of infertile couples.

Have you considered going through your local child welfare office? There are many, many children, and sibling sets that have spent years being bounced from foster home to foster home, and need you desperately. There is usually no fees for adopting through the child welfare system, and it is a huge myth to believe that all these children have serious behavioural issues, or were all crack babies.

You're 58 years old, you have lupus, and your body is admittedly a mess because of it. Why would you want a baby at this point in your life? You also admit to be into the bible, so it sounds like you're trying to impose your anti-abortion way of thinking onto someone else by pretending to be interested in adopting their baby (I read her bio).

I have my personal belief about abortion, but I don't expect everyone else to feel the same way I do. I belive people should make up their own minds about abortion and anything else.

I talk to a girl on line that is having an abortion tomorrow .... xsarahvixenx. I tried to talk to her about it but anytime I want to speak of the baby she shuts me out. She is about 4.5 months and has already felt the baby move. Her logic is she'll get rid of it now and God will give the baby back when she wants it. BTW you mention knowing me and she will ignore you automatically ....

bless your heart.... I hope somebody out there reads your 'question' and changes their mind. This world is so unfair and it would be truly beautiful for someone to give a baby a life with someone who can love him/her rather that discard it like an inconvient 'thing'. I only wish more people thought like you.
I wish you luck. God bless. Libbi x

so, you are suggesting that the person go through the physical issues of child birth, and then simply give their child up to you. are you going to pay their medical bills?
