Comedy Central ordered 13 new episodes and will join the lineup in 2008 (i think together with Drawn Together and South Park) and there were talks of a movie.
here is too hoping! coz:
FUTURAMA >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> simpsons+family guy combined!

It's no romour. Its been stated that new episodes of Futurama will start on around 07 or 08 on the Sci Fi Channel. This will happen along after the show's reruns move to the channel from Cartoon Network (Adult Swim). There will be also a movie sometime before this as well. This news was mentioned for a while a few months ago. The impatience is killing me.

From what I have read, they have made several new movie length Futurama features, and those should be shown on Adult Swim in the near future. The possibility of a Futurama series comeback is slim, but if it does make it back to TV, it will likely only be on Fox and not Adult Swim. Hope this helps!

Spoke to the guy that does the voice for Zoidberg a few months ago and he verified that some specials or episodes were going to drop in 07. I don't know that it's a new season (probably not) but if it does well, there's hope.
