The last time I saw her was in the wedding scene of the movie "Click". It was pretty sad the way she was milking a few more drops out of "Linger". I hope she stays around and puts out some tunes because her voice is beautiful.

Well..for this group it is Time for a break.....
In 2004, The Cranberries announced they were taking some time to pursue individual careers. Earlier that year, O'Riordan had sung the title track to the movie The Passion of the Christ, "Ave Maria" and composed a song for the movie Evilenko (with Malcolm McDowell). She plans to record a solo album (to be released in early 2007). Noel Hogan's new project is Mono Band (they will make a worldwide release Mono Band album)
The Cranberries decided to put the next album on hold. After more than a dozen years of relentless touring and promotion, which saw them clocking up album sales in excess of 38 million and playing to hundreds of thousands of fans around the globe, the band decided it was time for a break.

I haven't heard anything to support that rumor but that's not to say it isn't true. Where did you get this idea? Their Wikipedia page (which is usually up to date) has nothing on them since 2004 break where they took some time off.
