I loved the Rocky movies as a kid and I had the chance to meet Sly Stallone at the opening of Planet Hollywood. Unfortunately, I am much taller than Sly and, clearly having a height complex, he shook hands all the way down the line and crossed to the other side when he got to me. I wasn't impressed.
If I see a celebrity, I leave them alone. They have every idiot in the world coming up to them and annoying them, let them have their privacy. Also, 9 times out of 10, they turn out to @ssholes and spoil all your illusions about them.

Your right Robbie ,most of them are @ssholes and I can't understand why so many people idle them. They wouldn't give u the time of day,but gladly take your money at the box office.Spend millions on foolish weddings and hide aways, and start to lust for the next conquest. These fans look like fools gathering around these conceded idiots. Now the big thing is to adopt, then hand them over to a nanny or someone else to change diapers. They love to make themselves look good.Maybe buying a few sleeping nets at $10.00 ea. for some of these poor souls in Dafur ,so they can sleep at night and not be bitten by infected mos quoits would be more humanitarian.

When my friends and I crash celebrity outings or club promos, we end up partying with them and usually they end up just being just normal people out having a good time....
I've never really met an uber celebrity, so I guess that would explain their humbling atittude. although, we all must remember that these people that happen to have the talent and money to deem themselves celebrities are always normal people...I mean it's not like they were born on planet famous, you know.

an eye opener, not much of a decption but more of a confirmation that stars are really stars. they embody such grace and really good looks but most of them are too tired to be nice, they end up in this lousy crappy mood. their schedules are typically busy and they work long days--i work with celebrities almost everyday. i am a production manager. the company i work for manages celebrities and whenever there is a tv guesting i go with the talents to make sure everything is fine.

I've named names in previous answers and so won't again, but my experiences with celebrities have largely been positive. One particular actress, of whom I have been a fan for a very long time, turned out to be really sweet, so that was very affirming for me and made me very glad to have had the opportunity to meet her.

I met a well known country singer before he was as well known as he is now. He was a real jerk and I have never listened to another of his songs. If I hear him on the radio, I change the channel.

Viggo Mortenson shops where I work, I never recognize him when he comes in because he's just a normal guy.
