I recently had surgery on my elbow, and I have a scar that runs about 4 inches up the back of my arm. I bought this dress for my company Christmas party: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y99/solargrl/Myspace%20posts/dress.jpg
however it is sleeveless. I wanted to know if there is a way to cover my arms to hide the scar, without wrecking the look of the dress. I've looked at shawls, jackets, etc.. I can't find anything that works. Any ideas?

ok what you can do is where a Shaw or scarf to wear around the dress and he best thing to do is not to be embarrassed of the scar and just deal with it or you could always cover it up with make up!!

If you want something to hide the scar go with a little 3/4 sleeve cropped black jacket that comes down to your waist.
But personally I wouldn't cover that beautiful dress. I would learn to love even the not so pretty things and make them seem pretty.

Nobody is going to care about the scar on your elbow -- particularly not in that dress. It's a Christmas party. Get dressed up and enjoy yourself. Stop worrying about a scar.

how about gloves that come up to your elbow? Or you could just try to accept the scar and go without. It's a part of you now.

I found a very sexy velvet and rayon scarf at Walmart ($12.97) that would go perfect with the dress. It is very shear.

Well I would say your best bet is a shrug. They have them in many different colors, styles, and fabrics.
