I am 14 years old and started wearing light makeup when I was almost 14. This is what you should/can wear...
+ Tinted moistuizer - This actually helps your skin. It will even out your skin tone while moistuizing it. You should moisturize every day. The best thing to get is a tinted moistuizer will SPF 15+. Tinted moisturizer is not as heavy as foundation AT ALL, don't worry. It will not harm your skin. I use Burt's Bees Tinted Moistuizer but many kinds of drugstore makeup have it.
+ Highlighting eyeshadow - This will open up your eyes. Apply the highlighting shadow (if you have fair skin, get a white; if you have deep skin, get a light light gold) just underneath the brow and next to the tear duct of your eye (near the nose). Make sure you blend very well so you can't even tell it is there. I have seen girls do this wrong. One girl had a white line right under her brow because she didn't blend. Make sure you practice before you go out in public with it on. Maybelline New York and CoverGirl have nice cheap eyeshadows.
+ Lipgloss - Get a lipgloss that moisturizes while adding color. I love Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers.
+ Mascara - Mascara brightens and opens the eye. You only need one coat. Apply to the top lashes only for a more natural look. Then run a eyelash brush (you can get this at the local WalMart. Ask about it) through your lashes afterward VERY GENTLY to get rid of clumps. I love Maybelline New York Unstopable Mascara because it does not run. Just don't wear it in water unless you get the waterproof kind LOL.

Skincare if VERY important. That is the foundation to good makeup application - clear skin.

I would reccommend you use Aveda products. It is all natural and there is a line for sensative skin. It is very expensive but I think it is worth it - use it sparingly!! Go to a store and ask the salespeople for help selecting something that is right for your skin.

Makeup - I use Bobbi Brown. You can get her makeup book at any bookstore. There are great tips in there. I would find a combo foudation/powder compact in your skin tone. There are lots of color pallets for Xmas so you know they will go well together. Mascara is great - also buy an eyelash curler. Lips - you can do anything. Glosses are fun but they don't usually have a lot of color.

Have fun!!

I agree taking care of your skin is really important but the best product I've found by far for sensative skin acne etc... is Bare minerals. It looks really really natural. No one would know you have anything on at all but it evens out your tone really well and helps with oiliness dryness and other skin issues because its a powder. You can use that lip gloss and mascara and look amazing but if you want a little more color to your face go to a sephora with a friend and test out different shadows to see what looks best on you. Also sephoras luminous trio is awesome and natural looking just gives a warmth to your face. You can put that on your cheeks and eyes anywhere the sun naturally hits and it looks awesome.

okay this is what I'm going to tell you honestly don't use foundations,or any of that heavy crap okay because it makes your acne worse and clogs your pores and makes your skin oily. what you can do is do a light blush and use it gently to your skin and make sue you get something to almost match your skin tone and just let it highlight your face and your eyeshadow can be the prettiest thing on you or your ugliest make sure you get an eyeshadow that you wont do so harsh and you can still get that natural look and for mascara you can use anyone that you prefer and the lip gloss should just be any kind you like me personally i like any kind that last and smells good!!!

where do i start. well your young and i wouldnt cake your face in make-up, u dont need it, your probably reall pretty. if u lack confidence n want a little covereage i would use a tinted moisterizer, clean n clean do a good 1, its good for achne n soothes them as well as giving u that bit of coverage u may want. use a little mascara on your top lashes to start off with, n play round with some pale shimmery glosses, they can look so cute n smell ace too! but a must which helped me is to wash your face 3 times a day with a special antibacterial face wash. n always remember if you do wear make-up always remove it befor bed, if u dont it would just make ur achne worse, good luck. xx

It relies upon on your pores and skin. in case you do not have blemishes use a powder (health care professional's formulation has impressive powders that isn't ruin you out). once you've some blemishes use starting up. Alma almost bare Liquid starting up is amazingly reliable, because it gained't ruin you out and is sheer yet supplies reliable coverage. continually use a pressed powder over starting up. once you've fairly some blemishes or have a tendency to get the occasional truly huge one, use the starting up, then concealer (concealer is for spot coverage), and then powder. to understand your coloration you purely might want to seem on the makeup and attempt a touch on your hand. The coloration the seems maximum organic (as in you won't be able to see a line) is your coloration. Eyeshadow or eyeliner, it relies upon on what your eyes appear as if. i'd bypass with eyeshadow for a newbie because it really is extra "forgiving" even as it includes mistakes that you pick to erase. artwork your way as a lot as eyeliner. Lipgloss is large! that's straight forward and makes you seem polished! reliable luck!

read the labels of the products you use. make sure they are "non comedogenic" which means they won't clog your pores.
my sister has mild acne and she uses a foundation that comes in a compact instead of a bottle. because it is a little thicker and can hide acne a little better. pick one that is close to your skintone and apply it, a little powder to finish it off. maybe a soft shimmery brown on your lids right above the eyelashes and tadaa! mascara and lipgloss and you are ready to go. easy, natural and light.

Hey
For beginners why don't you start out with a little clear mascara and a fun lip gloss - actually cherry chapstick gives great color too - and for foundation if you have to i use Neutrogena mineral sheers, just to even out and banish oil. play around with eyeshadows or get almay's intense i color because they're already coordinated. actually everything almay is very coordinated good luck!
Make up is fun just don't go overboard!

DarkAngel T is out of her mind, not you. Many doctors and nurses use makeup. Anyway, I would ask for many different colors of eye shadow, and lipstick, and play around, til I find the right look for me. And a more natural look is the way to go, but you already know that! talk to your friends if you can. See what they say you should go with.

Well many different people do make up many ways and its very good to experiment ask your mom or somebody to see what colors go BEST with your eyes.Once you've found it then go from the outside of your eyelid to in.They often have books on what colors are best and websites to try google, yahoo, and ask jeeves.(They're the good ones) if your eyes are blue , for your eyes try blue, brown, pink, and purple eyeshadows. Remember you can do it anyway you think it looks best so ,

BEST of LUCK to you !!
