1st, take a long, hot shower or bath. Then, moisturize your feet and toes with lotion. I know it sounds weird, but it helps. Then, file them down with a file. The shorter they are, the less crispy they can get!

The best way to smooth your nails is a buffer block, you could get one at walmart, or sally's in the nail section.
The coarse side of the cube to smooth natural nail surface, use the soft side for a flawless finish, and the silky side to buff the nail to a perfect gloss. It works and your your nail will be shiny and smooth.

Take in vitamins B and C. Or any multivitamin. A home remedy is applying a drop of vinegar to each nail.
