I would take it out, my HP PAVILION battery now no longer holds a charge when i unplug my laptop and use the battery.I have had this computer for 2 years and seldom unplugged it I noticed the same thing with my other laptop it was always plugged up seldom unplugged and left to run on battery. Now without it being an ac power and no wireless or anything the battery only lasts 30 min . Batteries for remote controlled cars have this probelm too afterawhile and they cost 80 to 300 dollars as well so remove it and store it

No, that leaves much more room for damage on the battery, as long as you have a charger nothing can come out bad keeping a battery in the laptop unless it gets wet.

I would, and I did. Mine are out because I plug in most of the time too! I ruined a battery before by leaving it in.

its actually better to keep it in the computer, keeping the ac plugged in doesnt reduce the life of the battery if anything it'll keep it in brand new shape. the thing you have to worry about is having you battery go from completely drained to completely full and vise versa, this way you create cycles and screw up your batter. just keep the battery plugged in and the ac plugged in and you'll be good
