Do you game? If so you need to look at pixel response time and your resolution. Pixel response time is in Ms, 2Ms is a godly quick response time. also you don't want to go anything under a 1600:1 Ratio in contrast. Look at the brightness to, you should be able to ask a agent about that. Be willing to spend $225 or more on a monitor like that. In overall budget. Just eye it. the statistics should rate to the price above.

u should go for samsung 941bw its a wide screen version 19"
lcd and very economical it has 4ms response time tht is very gud in this price range it has analog digital interface with Analog RBG, DVI Digital, Link:TMDS 15pin D-sub, DVI-D max res. 1440x900 500:1 contrast ratio it has advanced features like MagicColor, MagicTune HDCP (for DVI), Narrow Bezel comes in black colour as well.

Go to buy.com and check it out for Monitors. I like my Princeton 17" LCD. Viewsonic is great one.
