is there different sounds for a bass guitar, if so how can u make them and can u use a chip when u use a bass?

you can use different effect pedals, and distortion, and all that. and as for the pick, you can use it in the beginning, but i would advise you not to. as you get better you will find you don't really need it, and it will just cause bad habits.

in case you are able to play the double bass you're a million/2 way there. Get on your community device shop and get some suggestion there, possibly attempt a pair of guitars. stable success from a bass head!!

well you can use a pick or your fingers but the way to get a different sound is to slap just like flea or fieldy
