As a longtime wrestling fan, I am sick and tired of hearing people say "The WWE sucks now." Wrestling, like every over form of entertainment has it's high and low points.
Okay, so you don't happen to like what is going on right now. You realize you do have an option, right? Don't watch!!! If the product bothers you that much, turn it off.
I'm not saying enjoy 100% of what the WWE puts on TV. I do try to remember that they are catering to a WORLDWIDE audience. Not everything that is put on Raw, Smackdown, or ECW is going to appeal to everyone.
Take the good with the bad. 'Nuff said.

I think it is losing its creativity because there are to many shows for the writers to keep up with and keep things interesting. Raw, Smackdown, Heat , Velocity, WWE .com stuff,
then you got your monthly special shows, Wrestlemania, Royal Rumble, Armageddon, Backlash, great American Bash, Cyber Sunday, Summer Slam, Unforgiven, Judgement Day , Vengence, No Mercy, and Survivor series.
then you got the writers also working on their DVD releases too. Mr McMahon, Loose Cannon the Brian Pillman story, The history of the AWA, the HIstory of the WWE championship, The ultimate anthology: Hulk Hogan, The Legacy of the Undertaker, The Jake the snake roberts story, The American Dream Dusty Rhodes DVD, Rey Mysterio 619, Eddie Geurrero, cheating death stealing life ( very well done I have to say.. that is my favorite) The greatest managers of the WWE, and the superstars of the 80's. That is only the begining!
its just too much for their writing team to handle with a good degree of quality. I have noticed that Saturday Night's Main event is not being promoted that much anymore. they only had two episodes.. then "poof" its gone?
Its too much to handle. they need to cut back a bit or get more writers to handle all that talent.

I think it depends on your view of success. There are plenty of fans out there who believe that a bigger company with more fancy fireworks, stage, and equipment is a successful company. There are fans who believe that success is defined by a company like the WWE, a company known world-wide. If that is the case, then the WWE and possibly TNA are the only successful promotions. I believe that's why the more casual fans refuse to watch other promotions aside from those two because they believe promotions like ROH are not successful and that's why they're not well known. However, I think success from a wrestling promotion is defined by how they're thriving. Promotions like ROH, TNA, Dragon Gate USA, and other wrestling promotions have survived and are growing. Their fanbase is growing and they're stable companies. These companies are certainly nowhere near the size and popularity of the WWE, but they are successful due to the fact that there are fans who pay for their product and there are newer fans paying more attention to these companies. To me, wrestling promotions are good depending on the quality of the product they put out.

how is j.r.'s announcing horrid? he's more devoted to wwe than some of the wrestlers. and joey styles reads scripts more than any announcer ever. my uncle works for wwe and i get to meet wrestlers on a regular basis, and the most committed wrestlers are the ones that win the most. so if your favorite wrestler is not being used "right", it's because he's not working hard enough.

i think it sux because the creative writing team ran out with good ideas so their trying to bring back the past... which in my mind is good... but anyways if the Divas actuaLLy wrestled, they got better wrestlers, and Vince didnt get invoLved like he does it might be better. As for the anouncing from Jim Ross i Like that

I haven't watched much WWE since WCW folded. Due to lack of serious competition, WWE has lost some of it's entertaining aspects. I have found that the story lines are dragged on for months at a time making the same old rivialries very old and very boring to watch (for me anyway)

Because they incorporated a very poorly-built storyline with absolutely no plot whatsoever; plus, their sayings and phrases are controlled, so they don't say what they want to say.

I think they have over-exposed and over extended themselves to the point where they are a bad MAD TV parody of themselves
