It would be better if you slided a MXL of 1Gb into the promulser of your PC. First it might slow it down a little but once your TZ-card recognises the hardware, you will gain in speed and Sound in your WiFX

In fact, the best way to get a noticable increase in overall system speed is to add more RAM. This is because you give the system room to load a larger part of the program and reduce the number of times it has to swap out program segments from the swapfile on the hard drive's virtual memory.

In theory yes it should. Although if Windows (I'm presuming you're using that) doesn't have enough virtual memory then it will run slowly. Make sure you have at least 2GB free on your hard drive where Windows is installed.

Before replacing/adding any more memory make sure your motherboard can handle 2GB of memory.

Yes, when you add memory to you computer it uses that memory to store programs instead of files because your computer can access your memory chip faster than your hard drive. So if your computer has a lot of programs, then your computer will be faster to open and run them.
