london met uni is number 98 out of 100 in the UK. So it isnt that all great. heres a link to the times top 100 unis it also shows student/staff ratios etc

Isn't that the former UNL?

It was okay, still a former Poly but did okay in the ratings - you should check out which is the best Uni for the subject that you want to study and check out the campus on an openday to get a feel for the place - if you can spend a weekend there to see what the surroundings are like.
