Especially teenagers....sometime maybe India or Pakistan I'm not sure...
Why are they so hateful?
Being a developed country, are the MPs or parents blind?

The Brits abuse everyone, including themselves. Some is done between friends and is accepted here as fun... if they really disliked them, they would not bother even speaking to them. However, some people are xenophobic and see abusing foreigners as a source of amusement... but they tend to be in the minority. But as we are a developed country, freedom of speech within certain boundaries allows people to say what they think... And parents are not blind... often they are of he same view of their children OR have been so restricted by the laws the MP's have made, they cannot chastise their children!

I think the phrase I'm looking for is 'tarring us all with the same brush'. Obviously English is not your first language, so in case you're unsure what it means it means making generalisations based on the actions of a few people.

And despicable why the actions of the few in question here may be, I hardly think saying all Brits, or even British teenagers (of which I am one), is at all fair.

I think you have racists in every country under the sun.

if you look at how the white middle class of this country would rather oppress the people of there own country than to offend the minorities that have graced these shores, i can understand the frustration they must feel. I have no hate for foreigners but i can understand that the rules made in the name of political correctness can only encite racism

This is only projected SELF-HATRED.
iF they liked themselves, they would feel happy, confident, and enjoy other people.
For some reason that I cannot fathom, British people feel very insecure and defensive. Perhaps it is because they must be very competitive on their island to earn a living. Perhaps it is the "imaginary" class structure system they are visualizing themselves in, which only exists in their own minds. They hang on to the mental chains that bind them, for some reason, when they should be enjoying every moment of their life in Great Britain, with a lifestyle and government services and just plain beautiful surroundings that are envied world-wide.
It's a mystery.

It's not just contained to British people. There are people of all countries who abuse others; even their own countrymen and women.

There a plenty of nice loving British people; it's the few nasty ones that give them the bad reputation

Being white and living in China, I find that both respect and abuse are rewarded to those that deserve them. People value you as you treat them. It is a two way street. Yes, there are bigots and racists but most people simply respond in kind to the way they are treated.

Racism of any kind is awful but please don't tar all us Brits with the same brush - the majority of us are liberal, tolerant, open-minded people. There is bigotry in every country, from every race and having lived in Paris for a time and travelled in America, I do not believe that we are the worst.
