Old. Everything will get old one day.
Repetitivive. Depends on your definition.
Not a Novelty Anymore. Definately, PS3 already took "inspiration" out of the wii's control, and the more time passes by, the more "inspiration" will be drawn out of it, if it becomes successful.

Revolutionary can only go so far, for so long. If you consider other items, ie: computers, tvs, music styles... 3 years is a LONG time, so if a console can give me at least one or two years of great entertainment AND they follow up with something new in a revolutionary take, (instead of revamped graphics and gadgety add-ons) then they'll have MY business.

Well, with the new techniques of playing games incorporated into the game system itself, what with the harder games and all, I would think that if it were to get old or repetitive, it wouldn't be by Nintendo, but someone who wants to copy that playing style. Notice how differently you play a Wii... via remote control, that measures speed, distance from the remote receiver, direction, and other proximitical variables. So it's a very advanced system that shan't have its ideas stolen, because it's a unique gaming experience.
