some people say I need to add more songs to my cd!

I feel that CDs should be about quality and not quantity. You could add some more songs; but if they are garbage they'll get skipped over anyway.

It's best to have a CD of songs that the listener can enjoy all the way through. I personally believe that if you create a CD of 8-12 great songs; then you'll leave your audience waiting and ready for your next release.

A lot of artists feel they have to fill the entire CD with music; the problem is, that (in my opinion) leads to filler tracks and saps the artists' cteativity. Again, go for QUALITY not QUANTITY.

The best example of this that I can cite is John Legend's "Once Again" This CD has 13 songs (one is an interlude) and I like each and every song.

Well... a cd can hold either 650mb or 700 mb of song data (a song without mp3 compression is around 40-50mb!) so thats around 18 songs at 3-4 minutes long.. phew!

Yeah...10 songs is a rip off... put some more songs on there or some interludes.

it depends on how long they are if they are like 3 min long than yes
