Has anybody had any problems with Pokemon leafgreen????

Question

i have been having problems when trying to get the HM cut and yes i know where it is but when i try to get up the stairs to fight the captain on S.S Anne my screen goes purple or either the game restarts. Has anybody else had this problem?????

I bought leafgreen over ebay.

It sounds like your game has a glitch. If you, bought it off someone from Ebay then its possible they used gameshark and glitched the game up. Or the problem might lie within your GBA. Try using a friends GBA and see what happens.

Don't talk to me about leafgreen. My son is mad on it - the problem is that he leaves his GBA and the games lying around and the dog keeps on chewing them. In the last 2 months I have had to buy 3 new GBA consoles and 2 copies of leafgreen - plus 1 new one last night! Thank god for ebay! The worst thing is that he has to start all over again. He has got to the end and I am pretty sure that he hasn't had this particular problem.
