I am going to do a compare and contrast paper. Anyone have any ideas about really great, controversial, far out, or out-of-the-ordinary subjects? I am NOT asking for homework help, I am just brainstorming!

What about the Death Penalty, DNA altering, or Gay/Lesbian families(better, same, or very different being raised by), maybe compare how much religion has changed from say 50 years ago(are more or less people involved in religious activities)

you could compare/contrast two different cultures or religions (scientology is controversial now and pretty interesting). you could also compare literature but that'd involve reading two books which might be more research than you want to do!

compare vietnam to iraq. i did the paper a few semesters ago and it was really really interesting. sooooo many similarities.

umm I would go for something like Caucasion and African American because there are alot of similarities people dont know about.. but thats just me.
