First we will have to convert all the fractions listed to fractoions with a common deminator Looking at the fractions you listed I see the 12 is the common deminator
The way I determined this is looking at all the deminators I see one that all of the deminators will devided into 12

2 will div into 12 -- 6 times ( 6 x 1 = 6 ) so 1 / 2 = 6 / 12

3 div. into 12 ---4 times ( 4 x 2 = 8 ) so 2 / 3 = 8 / 12

3 div into 12 -- 4 times ( 4 x 3 =12 ) so 3 / 4 = 9 / 12

12 div into 12 1 times ( 1 x 1 = 1 ) so 7 / 12 = 7 / 12

now looking at these fractions I see thar rhe biggest number in the numberators is 9 Therefore 9 / 12 or 3 / 4 is the largest fractions

3/4 is it. To compare the fractions you can multiply the denominator with a no. till it equals 12. then multiply the neumorator with the same no. When all the denominators are the same you will know which fraction is the greatest. So the given fractions become......
6/12 , 8/12, 9/12 & 7/12 ... so 9/12 or 3/4 is the greatest

If we put them all over a common denominator, 12,
we get 6/12, 8/12, 9/12, 7/12. So 3/4 is the greatest.
Another way is to find the decimal expansion of
each fraction and compare.
