I'm only 15 and recently, I am sooo emotional. I cannot watch anything sad without crying or sometimes I cry for no reason. For example, last night I was watching a commercial about MASTERCARD and there was a mother hugging her kids and I got EMOTIONAL for god's sake. I don't know what's wrong with me. I can't even hear word 'The Notebook' or i will start bawling (love that movie by the way). I am having some tough times right now though....best friend won't talk to me cuz she's a b****, 4 annoying stupid brothers who have me on the edge right now (can't stand them whatsoever), no sisters, only girl in like 3 generations on dad's side, most cuzins live half way across the world!!
aaahhhh!! i can't stand it at all!! i was actually crying like 10 minutes ago for no apparent reason!
Help! Why is this happening?
Thanks!

That is part of growing up, young lady. That is what we call your "outlet"... During puberty years we come to face a lot of emotional problems... Be thankful that your manifestation is just that.... Some kids tend to do drugs or get pregnant... It will pass... Happy crying!!! ;)

There is nothing wrong with you! Just relax and take a deep breath.
Your hormones are raging and causing this crying. Your poor body has hormone levels jumping all over the place each month and your emotions are a way of expressing these changes.
The best thing for you to do is to visit your doctor and describe the crying. You need to keep a journal of the days you have your period and the days you are more emotional than others. There is medication to make this much easier to live with. Once you are on the medication you will go back to being yourself again.
Talk to your mom or dad and explain that you simply must see the doctor about your period. They won't argue about that one.

Oh my gosh, you sound EXACTLY like me! I'm 15 and I am extremely emotional. Its probably hormones, that's what my mother says. I went to Disney yesterday, and cried because Mickey (who i love) stopped signing autographs and I got extremely "hurt" for NO reason. My friends act really b****y sometimes, and that causes some hearbreak, boy problems are always bad, and of course family can do that.
Just take a deep breath, try to relax and think about the positive.
I hate being a teenager, this happens too much!
Hope it helps =)

It's hormones baby. Sometimes they just overwhelm the best of us. Write in a journal because it could help you cope with all those emotions you're having. Do you play any sport? Soccer is the perfect outlet! You run, kick the ball(people, too), and you're exhausted from the fun. Get out and do something! You'll be glad you did!

Hormones. Women can get strong emotional reactions to hormonal shifts in their body. This is what happens at menopause too. Don't be alarmed. Just don't misunderstand and think things will stay so confusing. They will not. And if you need someone to talk to, please find a good person you trust and let your feelings out.

Relax...
It's raging hormones- part of the process of puberty.
However, speak to your guidance counselor at school, perhaps she will be able to get you some extra support in therapy from the chool psychologoist.

Maybe puberty hates you. Maybe you were born to be a crybaby. Maybe this won't last longer than a week. Maybe too much sh** has happened in your life. Maybe you are sick in the head and your brain can't produce enough serotonin.

Once hormones kick in that'll happen.
Good luck.
