Young lady, quite simple. Just call your telephone company in the city and country that you reside in. They usually offer internet service. If not all you have to do is check the yellow pages where you reside for "Internet Services".
Ask qustions to friends or people who reside near you if they have an computer and what ISP, do the use. Because you want a good one that is up 99% of the time. And not one that crashes all the time or ripps you of with less speed then you are paying for.

search your ipaddress. Go to start-->run-->type command and a black window will show. Then type ipconfig. Get the IP address that way and then goto whois.com and search your ipaddress.
