there is not a soul on this planet that he will not forgive , and besides you must love your life and sex is part of loving your life so dont worry about what other people say about it or what other PEOPLE have written in a book

Very good question.
Here is what I believe.
1. God is love and loves everyone, even YOU and I.
2. God is justice and will judge everyone, even YOU and I.
3. God has told us right and wrong ~ sin (10 Commandments, etc.)
4. God will judge everyone based on their sin, even YOU and I.
5. God has set up a system where all sin will be punished.
6. Heaven will be pure so no sinner can enter, not even YOU or I.
7. All people have sinned, even YOU and I.
8. The penalty of sin is death.
9. Someone needs to die for every persons' sin, even YOURS and MINE.
10. YOU can die for YOUR sin or follow God's plan since He sent someone else to die for YOUR sin.
11. God wants everyone to follow His plan, even YOU and I.
12. God has told us how to obey His plan.
13. God's plan is that we repent of our sin and believe in the one who He sent.
14. God wants everyone to get on our knees and do that, even YOU and I.
All this I said is not to judge you or anyone. Gay or straight. However, many people may see one or more of these statements as judgmental. Here is the deal; I am not your judge and no other person on earth is however GOD in Heaven will judge all the earth. All will face Him one day and it won't be pretty for some. God does say it is sin to have sex with the same sex but He also says it is sin to have sex with anyone you are not married to and it is even sin to think about having sex with someone you are not married to! Like I said before we have all sinned!!!

God does love everybody. You're talking about humans and no human is perfect, a lot are down right hypocrits. So don't use the behavior of weak human individuals to define God's love for you.

Good question!
Christians see God as a parent who loves his children but if his children don't obey him he will kick them out of his house (heaven). The only problem with this metaphor is that if God were a person living on earth and behaved this way he would be hounded by the NSPCC. Funny religion I think!

anyone that judges someone else is wrong....God does love gay people He just doesnt love what you do...the same thing goes for liars, thieves, murderers so on and so on....all sin is the same in Gods eyes so a gay person is no worse off than a thieving pastor

Not all Christians bash gays. God did not put us here to judge each other, God put us here to love one another. We are told to hate sin...not to hate people...and we are ALL sinners. Anyone who judges gays is sinning.

That's a big problem with christianity. One of the reasons that I'm not a christian anymore. They would not accept my son.
Christians tend to be hypocritical. It is their god that is not accepting. My pagan gods/goddesses are very accepting!
Remember, there are other religions out their.
I feel I have to mention, not all christians are gay bashers (just most)

Well, those Christians are what I like to call "hypocrites." They are like all other homophobes: they fear what they don't understand and therefore call it evil. However, there are plenty of Christians who don't have an outright problem with gays.

are you a christian, from the looks of it NO, I'm a christian, alot of my friends are gay and bi, yes, I know it's not right, but it's nothing we can help, if we like the same gender it doesnt mean we're bad people, I'm bi, and I know that's wrong, but there's nothing I can do about it, it's not a choice.
I do not bash gays, I accept everyone for who they are, even if they're satanists.
like the first guy said, "hate the sin, love the sinner" that's so true.
