Is the way that Deal or No Deal contestants are picked, fixed?

Question

The so called Random picking of a contestant could be 'fixed'. It seems to be the only way of ensuring a low amount box contestant is in the chair. How many contestants have high value boxes compared to low amounts over the series? If it is fixed, this is the only way I can see possible.

Yeah it's chosen in advance. For instance when somebody in a wheelchair is "randomly" selected, there just happens to be a ramp there already.

I think that the contestants are definitely picked in advance, but how could they fix the boxes? omg they all show you the numbers in alll the cases and people almost always walk away with more money then whats in their case so ya

I think it is it seems to go Man picked Mon then Women picked Tues and so on also don't you think it strange that the relatives of the person picked just happen to be in the studio that day

Why would they fix it,besides it been a load of crap,they all get a go eventually,its all chance no matter who is picked and as for noel edmonds he wants fixing

I believe that it is fixed also, i have thought over the many possibilities and still believe that it is fixed!

that kinda spoils watching it if you think its a fix, cant say Ive thought that but it does get a bit boring at times, wish they could change the format at times !
