I advertised on e-bay an x box for auction within 1 day it came back sold by one of your subscribers under the name of (tracemusaxx7@yahoo.com) It would appear that Pay-pal and other e-bay users no about this person. She asks for the goods to be shipped to Nigeria and a spoof e-mail comes back in the format of Pay pal payment made. What can you do about it ?

Anyobdy who buy, sells, or sees a scam on ebay needs to contact ebay & paypal. I foyu go to your my ebay page, there should be a link to their center for reporting scams.

A quick tip: every spoof email from ebay I'm recieved is from[support, sales, etc.] "@eBay.com". However, real ebay emails are from @ebay.com. Real ebay doesn't use a capital "b" in it's sent bar. However, this could always change, since scammers are becoming better.

Pretty much the whole world knows about Nigerian scammers.

Forward the e-mail to spoof@paypal.com.

Get in touch immediately with E-Bay. Yes, they'll be open today, so do it via phone or their instant messenger thing.
