money is made, ie it is easy to make currency & notes & coins, etc. but there are scarce resources in the world & not everyone can have them. Money is used to buy these resorces & the more money one has the more resources or services he can buy.
If someone has no money, it means he has nothing to buy something or some service.
Money is the universal intermediary between wanting something & having something. (of course some things like love cannot be bought) one has to earn money by working in order to have something. or one is lucky one might have a rich father or win a lottery or have money thru other means.
there are lot of poor people b'coz they simply do not have or have very little money. But it is poor families also that have the biggest families & they keep on producing children & they become poorer until someone in the family starts his own business or something & makes a lot of money & saves the family.
There are also so many poor people b'coz there is an absolute inequaility in this world. Some have lots of money, others have some money, whereas some have nothing. It is just the way the world works.

You suffer misconceptions. 1st, Money is not made by machines. Currency is made by machines. Currency has no value until is is fed into the banking system to serve the tole of making money tangible enough to use. Money does not exist in the absence of human society. If all the people of earth disappeared tomorrow, there would be no money anymore. There'd be piles of currency, but no money. Printing lots of currency will do nothing except cause hyperinflation.
2nd, there is poverty because the natural state of man is extreme poverty. Have you ever noticed that wild animals have no clothes, no possessions, and struggle everyday just trying to acquire enough food to survive? Likely as not they will become the food. Well, that's the natural state of humans too. The great miracle is that there are any people NOT living in abject poverty.

Because only so much money is made. Money is simply credit from the governments. The amount of money made is a direct relation to the countries debt.
There are poor people, because there are rich people. The rich people gaining wealth, gain it from the poor people who have less.
If a governement simply made more money, who would make the money good? Gold is supposed to be in the Federal Reserve Bank to match the money in the market place. If there is not enough gold to back up the money in the market, then the national debt is created. That's our problem right now. The governement has more money in the market than they have gold in the Federal Reserve. This is the reason for the economy being in the shitter like it is right now.
In order to gain wealth, one must decrease spending and increase thier earnings. Governemnt raises tax rates and interest rates in order to decrease spending. If spending slows then the need for more money is decreased. When there is less money in the market, the money becomes worth more.
Back in the 60's and 70's you could buy a brand new car for $1,500.00. Because the minimum wage was .05 cents an hour. as Americans pursuaded the government to raise the minimum wages, suppliers of products had to charge more for thier items because they cost more to make. Now, the average cost for a new vehicle is $20,000. Houses over $75,000. The housing market and the auto market are the two largest markets in the World. More jobs are related to those two items with people that make the bumpers, tires, belts, hoses, steal sheets, installing them, radios, windshields, etc. Then people selling them, financing them, advertising for them, storing them, cleaning them, fueling them, working on them, etc.
If minimum wage was never increased, would we need to make more than we did then? That's the real question! We the people, put our country in the shape it's in now. Not our government, and definately not our President.

because Socialism is a bad word
and there are so very few truly wealthy people
Sure money is manufactured. the concept however is that currency holds the place of a specific product or service. Currency allows individuals to accumulate wealth and thereby relax the urgency to provide a product or service in order to feed or clothe one self. It eliminates the need for barter where you have to have something some one needs in-order to get what you need. If you decide to simply manufacture more money you devalue it and the rich will not like that.
Most of the western world no longer backs there curency with gold. (it use to be that you could take your dollar in to the reserve and get a dollars woth of gold [at least in theory] but the government has done away with this practice of backing the currency with precious metals)

Inflation sparked by debt. The trick here is that while inflation increases the minimum value of all products the same cannot be said for the minimum wage per person. This method is nothing more than sophisticated mind control, also known as modern slavery.
The best slave is the one which doesn't realize it's rights are a lie. That's why inflation can keep making your everyday basic needs ever more expensive while getting paid the same wage (if not decreasing) until you wake yourself in poverty without even your house and you'll ask yourself, why?
This is why 50% of the world population lives in poverty. Yes, you heard me right, half the world is living in poverty, not like they would tell you that on TV, after all everyone's too busy seeking instant gratification, YOLO&SWAG instead of helping those kind of people:

Blame the 1% who own 40% of the world's wealth (or so the statistics say, they own a lot more) who already waged WW3. This war is different than the past one due to it's covert nature, also known as political warfare which started with 9/11, blamed on al-Qaeda, same goes with ISIS.

I think that there are so many people born into poverty because the rich people in the world keep getting richer and greedier and dont want anyone to have anything like they have, Madonna is a perfect example how many millions has she got, enough to wipe out the third world debt and she thinks she is helping by adopting one child it nuts i just keep hoping that eventually what goes around will come around and some day Madonna will die and come back as child who ends up living on the streets in Brazil

If you just printed loads of money and gave it to everyone it would be worthless.
Money is just a symbol of how much you have.
The reason for all the poverty is capitalism in the world and the fact that there are just too many people in the world - nearly 6 Billion and simply not enough to go around.
The balance is maladjusted thought, I agree. Some people have it all, some people have nothing.
But part of human nature is greed so that is also a cause.
If you won £5 million on the lottery would you give it all to charity or would you keep most of it for yourself? If like most people you answered keep most of it for yourself then there lies the answer to your question.

The creation of more money, that is more than that which is removed from circulation leads directly to inflation. Rising inflation leads to higher interest rates and a bear stock market. The net effect is lower wealth for all.
Balancing the money supply is both an art and a science.
Some are poor by choice...some are poor by circumstance. If you wish not to be poor, the best way is to make a better life for yourself, if possible, and quit relying completely on the governmemt to solve your problem.

money is something people revolve around and have since like forever. i don't understand poverty to well myself but i do know it comes down to the fact that we all have to pretty much live by the rich peoples terms they have the money they have company's the food the accessory's we need so we have to pay them for it. it isn't right but it is the way of life. you can do or get anything without money and you cant get money without working for someone who has it. as for some of the poverty people bring it upon themselves because they dint do anything about it. they could get grants and stuff to go back to school and get higher paying jobs but they choose not to. they get stuck in the rut of a little job that pays hardly nothing and when the check rolls in they barely get by after paying the necessity's. this is just my thought on it

Happy you thought about it !! It is huge issue and nobody wants to pay attention. Just think about it, we dump lots of food and then we spend hundreds of dollars on our pet. WHY? because they belong to us. How about other human? Are they not from us? Yes they are. I know animals should be taken care of BUT they dont get priority over HUMAN beings.
Why US went to Iraq for war ? OIL right? Why the same US does not go to poor African countries to stop the war and hunger. Why do they spend billions of dollars on war...unbelievable....
I think if every one starts thinking like you, there wont be any hunger or fight in this world. We can live peacefully but we need to be united. We should think about everybody being our own, regardless of their races, countries the belong, or religion.
Hope world will be better place after next fed election, when monkey king will be sent off.
Thanks for putting everybody's attention on that issue..!!
