Listen... we ALL have the right to travel without fear for our lives. If people (ANYBODY!!!) are acting suspiciously, or in this case also beligerently, they should be removed from the airplane no matter what religion they are. If people can't behave, then don't fly... it's that simple. And... can anyone blame the airlines for being suspicious of these men considering 9/11? If they don't like being treated this way, then act with some respect for all other passengers. A little dignity and understanding will go a long way toward alleviating our fears... unless they don't want to alleviate our fears, in which case they will reap what they sow... fear and mistrust!

The facts are listed below, and if you can be thrown from a plane for being drunk, why is this even a factor? This is not discrimination, this is common sense. There is no need for any "sensitivity classes" as some people have said. This is common sense. If I got up with a bible and started a scene, they would remove me. These are not clerics, nor scholars, these are people who scared people going to travel, they SCARED people.
This was planned in my mind, and this excerpt will show why.

Homeland Security: Kudos to US Airways. Risking fines and a boycott, it did the right thing this week by removing a group of Muslim men from a flight to protect its crew and passengers.
By most accounts, the six bearded men were behaving suspiciously at a time when airports were on high alert for sky terror during the holidays. "There were a number of things that gave the flight crew pause," an airline spokesman said. According to witnesses and police reports, the men:
• Made anti-American statements.
• Made a scene of praying and chanting "Allah."
• Asked for seat-belt extensions even though a flight attendant thought they didn't need them.
• Refused requests by the pilot to disembark for more screening.
Also, three of the men had only one-way tickets and no checked baggage.
Police had to forcibly remove the men from the flight, whereupon they were taken into custody. A search found no weapons or explosives, and they were released to continue on their journey.
Two years ago a dozen Syrian men caused panic aboard a Northwest Airlines flight by passing bags to each other as they used the lavatory. As the plane prepared to land, they rushed to the back and front of the plane speaking in Arabic.
US Airways and the crew are more of the heroic type then a prejudiced one.

Jihadists today invoke the Quran to justify the worst terrorist crimes. Throat slitting of infidels is mentioned in the Quran. Al-Mawardi (d. 1058), the prominent 11th century jurist quoted this verse, specifically, « When you encounter those who deny (the Truth) then strike (their) necks. » (Quran 47 :4), in his learned discussion of jihad. This ritual execution is also mentioned in other Muslim legal texts and in narratives of Christian and prominent Muslim historians. Today it is performed against infidels and recorded on videotape for the edification of Muslim audiences.
When the average pious Muslim reads a verse like 2:132 (“And this was the legacy that Abraham left to his sons, and so did Jacob; ‘Oh my sons! Allah hath chosen the Faith for you; then die not except in the Faith of Islam’”) or 3:67 (“Abraham was not a Jew nor yet a Christian; but he was true in Faith, and bowed his will to Allah’ (which is Islam), and he joined not gods with Allah”), he understands what so many imams tell him: that the true Jews and Christians of today are the Muslims, and the people who go by those names are renegades and rebels against God.
This is of course nonsense.
This argument does not rest on any idea that Abraham or Moses observed specifically Islamic rituals, but on the idea that they were prophets of the True Faith which was restored by Mohammed after it was corrupted by Jews and Christians.
This is of course nonsense.

I watched Fox news this morning, and all that was said on there(that was in the article). Lord have mercy! We are being way to nice to Muslims. They should be profiled for crying out loud. I hate it cuase we have to tip toe around certain groups. What the Muslims main purpose is...to take over the world. Do your research!
We need to bring our troops home...and secure the borders...against ALL foreigners! If someone doesn't like it here...then they can go elsewhere.

JP gave an excellent answer. I would just add that remember the woman who wouldnt remove her burka or whatever it was, well what makes her special. If you live in AMerica you have to follow the rules that we ALL live by. They were acting suspiciosly and when you do that you might not be flying these days.
