My friend had unprotected sex a little over a week ago, she's really freaked out and has been sick (and has to pee all the time) for the past 3 days or so. She thinks she's pregnant, but I didn't think that those signs usually showed up until later...

Implantation doesn't even occur until 6-12 days after fertilization. Your body does not even begin to produce pregnancy hormones until after the fertilized egg implants in the uterine wall. A week after having sex, your friend *may* have conceived, but she is not medically pregnant and cannot be having symptoms of a pregnancy that her body isn't even aware of. If she's scared of becoming pregnant, stress is likely causing her to be queasy; she's frantically looking for signs so she's finding them.

I am pregnant now. This is my 7th pregnancy and I have 3 living kids so I know. First of all no pregnancy is the same. It is possible that one could experience it in the first week due to changes in the body. My first pregnancy I did'nt get it until the second month, my third I was sick the entire time and my 5th was toward the end. But only take this advice if you know your pregnant not to determine if you are because sometimes if you think your pregnant then you begin to feel feel pregnant and in that case its a mind thing
