When I manually set up the IP address, it says connected, but does not open. Some times I get the message no or limited connetivity.

Click your Start button > go to RUN > type in CMD and hit enter. It will bring up a command box. Type ipconfig and verify you have an address. then type ipconfig/release hit enter and then ipconfig/renew. This should get you a refreshed ip address.

Double check the subnet and default gateway settings.
Try using a DHCP address.

you shouldn't manually set your ip address

just go to start menu, and click RUN

type ipconfig /release
hit enter
type ipconfig /renew
hit enter

and you're good to go

check with the phone company that the Internet connection is activated.

perfect-click the relationship on your gadget tray (beside clock) and click 'fix'... this may renew your i.p. truly quick and straightforward. If all else fails, there's a reset button on decrease back of router. reliable luck :-)

put ip 192.168.1.0 and in submask 255.255.255.0 or set it to automatically detect ip
