no, because a team's final record should not be the only determining factor in playing for the national championship.
if that were the case, you would see teams schedule their non-conference opponents as division 2 teams to better their records. that's just not right....

I think that # 1 Ohio State being 12-0 will be there but definately not Boise St. I think it will be either # 3 USC or # 6 Notre Dame.

Second, Boise is FAR from the second best team in the nation, they play in a weak conference, and their best non conference win was against Oregon St, which is the only good team they've beaten, besides Hawaii

Boise state??? you are joking right? seriously Boise state hasnt played anybody thats good. OU would beat the snot out of boise state
currently i would say Arkansasif the beat Florida next week and win vs LSU. boise state would be crushed by ohio state. would be the worse Natl champ game in the history of college football.

LOL....that would be a horrible matchup. Undefeated or not, Boise State would get killed by Ohio State. The bowl promoters would hate that one, the advertisers would hate that one, and the NCAA would hate that one. Looks like it will be Ohio State/USC.

See this is what I hate about the BCS rankings.
People pick their favorite teams so they get ranked high.
The National Championship is based on computers and local reporters.
It should be based on record, then strength of schedule, then head-on record (if they played each other).
If Rutgers went undefeated and didn't play in the National Title game, I'd be so mad.

No way, what was Boise States toughest opponent, North eastern utah tech.......a&m. The worst team the Buckeyes played would probally beat them.
