Carling "Belong" advert -- the birds flying in formation...?

Question

Has anyone seen birds do this in real life? I saw them do it a couple of weeks ago in Sardinia near Alghero and was freaked out! It looked almost identical to this.

What I want to know is where else do they do this? If you have seen it, please let me know. Also, does anyone know where the footage in this ad were taken from?
