I am from Ireland but my American aunt told me about a make-up called Bare minerals which we dont have over here...i have found the website on it but just want some opinions, is it good, what products you recommentd? Also how would I know which ones would suit my skin without trying them first - ive pale skin!

Oh my - let me tell you - I started using Bare Escentuals in January and have almost the entire collection now! I LOVE IT! You can start out with the starter kit, you get two foundations - you usually have to mix them a bit to get the right color - its so simple! You get Warmth - which looks dark but it isn't - it just adds a natural sunlight look to you. You get Mineral Veil - it perfects your look and gives you that smooth finish : )
You get three brushes - the brushes are unlike any other - don't try any imitations - the B.E. brushes are wonderful! You usually get a starter DVD also - you will watch it the first couple times you put it on - I remember I panicked and thought Id never remember the order to put it on : )
I put mine on a little heavier than the DVD suggests - it works well for me.
They are on QVC all the time, so check QVC for great deals : )
I have almost all of my friends and co-workers wearing B.E. now - we are addicted : )
I think my favorite would be the Well Rested for your eyes - no matter how tired you are - you put that around your eyes and you look...well...well rested!
Oh - and the Bisque - it covers trouble spots - liver spots - blemishes - dark circles and other things : )
It DOESN'T come off when you sweat - its safe to sleep in!
I cant say enough about this make up - try it - you will LOVE it!
Oh - and don't panic - your face might feel a little dry the first 3 - 4 days that you use it - but it will go away!

I absolutely love bare minerals. Its great if you just have some unevenness that you want to cover up but nothing too serious. I have some dark spots and things like that and it works like a charm plus its really natural no one would know you have anything on and the starters kit lasts forever. You would need the light kit and it comes with two different foundation colors so you can blend them together or just use the one that fits your color the best because one of them will trust me. I do also use a little conceiler under my eyes because like someone else stated it doesn't cover everything and I have crazy dark circles. Def try it.

I haven't ever used it, but I have three friends that I know use it. One girl is pretty light skinned and it looks beautiful on her. If you want something that looks very natural it is definitely good. It also always tends to give a goldish tan look to the cheek bones, but it is very pretty, I think that it makes you look a little more alive, if that's a good way to describe it. :) I'm not sure which of the products they use, but I thing they just bought the starter kit. nicely bare Minerals broke me out then i attempted the loose trial from uncooked Minerals and it grew to become into an analogous junk as bare minerals the two incorporate intense quantities of bismuth which clog your pores and break you out they're the two extremely undesirable. It is a very good make up and the kit that's for light to fair skin is a good choice, it has everything you need in it for a perfect face.

i have used bare minerals. and i don't find that it covers very well (the foundation) however the eyeliner and eyeshadows are wonderful. it really is hard to tell what shade would be best for your skin without testing them first.

I love it! Gives good even coverage and it doesn't give a heavy feeling, plus it takes just a few minutes to apply. Who could beat that.
