I have bought this dress for a Christmas Party I am going to on the 9th December. The thing is I am a bit confused as to what shoes/bag will go with it as black will have no show? I have thought about gold or silver (as I have both) but wasnt sure which would match better.
Also any advice on make up, hairstyles etc would be much appriciated!

Thank you in advance for your help!

very nice i like it!! have you seen Fergie's video for london bridge?? well her hair and make up in that video would be PERFECT for the dress, the part where she walks through the double doors in the shirst dress and her hair is kind of 60's style. I think a pair a chunky chunky heeled shoes would be fab also, or maybe t-bar shoes. Pale pink would be fab or bright red!! and a matching clutch. Hope this helps pet!! I think i might buy that dress!!

I always think of gold as a "warm" colour and silver being "cool" Black is a colour that any other colour will go with. You haven,t said what colour your hair is, are you dark then go for the silver, like wise gold wth blond it will give your face colour. As you didn't say what style the dress was,ie high neck ,straps, all i can say is be bold make a statement, you will only need small bag, don't paste your face with make up just make up your eyes, as i don't know what colour they are, just try to bring out the colour, you can go to any good make up counter and ask for advise you don't have to buy. Remember if you are wearing gold go for "warm" colours and silver "cool" best of luck

I think silver will go better with it, because the dress is a dark color, so silver will bring out some brightness and you don't look so dark. Gold can probably do the same thing, but then it's just a matter of personal taste, and I don't really like gold, but if you like it, then it's your choice.

The clearance areas of style-clever shops like Bealls or Kohls or regardless of advantageous shops you reside via. The clearance area many times has stuff this is sweet for somebody petite (i recognize, i'm short). once you're having hassle looking pants that extra healthful good then forget the pants, skirts are consistently good for a petite physique, and that i choose longer skirts. i do no longer think of mini skirts flatter short legs in any respect.

think about the jewellery you will wear and wear the shoes and bag the same, no point wearing silver shoes and gold jewellery as it just doesn't go, i would go with silver myself as i think gold looks cheap!

hope you have a good nite!

silver shoes!
gold wouldn't go with it.
unless we know what you look like we can't comment on hair but makeup i'd say something shimmery instead of sparkly and keep it to a minimum.
have fun and have a drink on me...lol
