You have various options for disabling CSS styles in Ff2. Look under the CSS tab. If you don't see a CSS tab, go to VIew->Toolbars and enable the Web Developer toolbar.

If the blinking text is from a plain old tag, there may be no help for it. Did you check the page source to see how it's implemented? I suppose it could be Javascript, too, which you can also turn off.

Oh! - Just looked at the page. They've got "text-decoration: blink;" in the body style. "Disable linked style sheets" gets it.

I never heard of it. You are using Firefox which recognizes the tag. Use IE and you won't have that problem.

see what you mean!!! What were they thinking?!!!!

Well, basially, you can go to View>Page Style>No Style and you will get just the white background and text.

Or, go here: http://www.fourquarters.biz/generator/ and create your own CSS and use it when viewing the site
